How does the search process work?

  1. Choose your location: Start by selecting a country from our drop-down list. Our database includes coverage for most major countries worldwide, ensuring you can search almost anywhere you need.
  2. Refine by town or city: Enter a town or city name to focus your search on a specific urban area, or leave it blank to search the whole country.
  3. Select a category: Filter results by type of place—such as “Restaurant,” “Museum,” “Hospital,” “Hotel,” and more—or select “All categories” for a broader overview.
  4. Apply advanced filters: Depending on your subscription plan, you can filter by postal code, limit results to those with public phone numbers, or focus on places with email contact details. These advanced filters help you target the most relevant and actionable locations for your needs.
  5. Review your results: Once you submit your search, you’ll see a clear, organized table with the key details for each POI: name, website (if available), country, town, postal code, phone, email, and categories. Sensitive fields such as phone and email are hidden by default but can be exported if your plan allows it.
  6. Export your data: If your subscription credits are sufficient for the number of results, you can export your POI data for further use—such as building contact lists, performing market analysis, or integrating with your own apps and CRMs.

Where does our data come from?

Our entire POI database is built using automated scraping techniques and direct data collection, but only from sources that are publicly accessible on the open internet. This means we index and aggregate information that is already visible on business websites, public directories, official registries, online maps, social media business pages, open government datasets, and other public-facing platforms.
